My morning food diary

The first thing i do when i wake up, is boiling some water, starting my day of with a cup of warm lemon water. I like to drink this on an empty stomach , to start my day with something fresh. I like to think of this as the perfect “health” starter-habit. it’s cheap, simple and effective and it keeps me on track.


Lemons are mostly known for their high levels of Vitamin C and therefore most commonly known to prevent colds especially during autumn and winter season. It´s also an antioxidant, which means it helps cells to protect against the damage.Squeezing a lemon into your water might help to reduce wrinkles and make you look younger too!

And it can all be broken down to 2 simple ingridients:

  • water (hot)
  • lemon



What I love about oatmeal is that it’s really quick and easy to make, it is healthy and tasty, you can customize it with any toppings, and it keeps you full, and it provides me with lots of energy! I love a consistent morning routine.

The great thing about oatmeal is it’s packed with protein, fiber, and antioxidants. All good things that you want to start your day with! It’s also a filling, healthy breakfast that takes no time at all to make.


1/2 cup quick oats

1 cup almond milk

pinch salt

1/2 tsp vanilla exstract

1/4 tsp cinnamon (extra for topping)


1 tbsp creamy peanutbutter

Handfull of blueberries

Sliced strawberries


Cook the oatmeal according to the package directions with salt, vanilla, and cinnamon.

Top cooked oatmeal with peanut butter, and fresh fruit. Sprinkle with extra cinnamon and enjoy!
